This recipe is quick enough for a hectic weeknight yet still offers that cozy weekend comfort food vibe! I originally received this recipe decades ago as a young mother and have since adapted it to make it my own.
It's warm, comforting, and mild enough for the kids! However, you can always add some Creole seasoning if you prefer!
One of the great things is that you make it all in one pot! You start by sauteeing your vegetables, then add in all other ingredients and simmer!

If you're not someone who likes to cook this is perfect! It is simple and nourishing!
